can one forget what they have known
since the dawn of time.
the next time i see you,
will i know ur name,
or just walk on by.
how many times have we talked about this,
have i already forgotten.
i used to live in the past,
but now i can only look at pictures.
now that you've left me
alone and scared.
am i allowed to see them again,
can i try to remember,
what it is they look like.

they're gone.
their not coming back
so i'll keep walking forward
